The location
Rooms dated not enough plug sockets and a very small tv

It’s ideally suited to explore Shrewsbury as it’s in the centre of the town. Also has parking which is an additional benefit
We were next to the main road which was very nosy with the traffic and people talking. It was warm so we had to have the windows open which didn’t help

I liked the convenient location of the hotel. The bar was a bonus. Parking on site for a small fee (£5) was also useful.
The fireplace in the lounge was impressive.
The majority of staff lacked warmth and hospitality, which goes a long way towards making a stay welcoming and enjoyable. (A couple were personable and made us feel welcome.)
The general feel of the hotel is tired and worn.
It would have been nice to have a bottle of water in the room.
Lack of breakfast, which is disappointing for the price.
It seemed expensive for what we got.
