Breakfast was very good full English nicely cooked and served on a warm plate - selection of juices tea and coffee.
The bar/dining area looked like it had been recently redecorated but some of the wall decor was a bit much.
Not sure if the room we had was waiting to be refurbished as apparently some of the rooms have been or are being - there were cobwebs on the light fittings, bed mattress needed replacing, no mattress protector, no pillow protector, bedding was clean. Carpet in room and stairways need cleaning or replacing, the room had been painted but there was paint on the TV and carpet. The bathroom needed up dating taps and shower fittings, the bath panel was awful. Curtains need to be either lined or made to blackout the street lighting and the bathroom needs to have a window covering. The rooms aren't accessible to all - the photo's on booking.com are not reflective of the exterior of the property nor the room we stayed in. Room wasn't serviced on second day of booking, towels not changed and tea, coffee, milk etc not replenished. Shame as the property has a lot of potential.
