Nous avons aimé la qualité de la rénovation de cette vieille maison en pierres, située tout en haut du village de Volissos, avec une très belle vue (même si le paysage est actuellement bouleversé par l'incendie d'août 2025). Le stationnement se fait à une centaine de mètres sur un parking public mais on peut approcher la voiture pour décharger les bagages.
Le village dispose des commerces de base et de plusieurs tavernes de qualité. Plusieurs belles plages à proximité, aménagées ou non, il y en a pour tous les goûts.
Volissos est la meilleure base pour découvrir le nord montagneux de l'île, mais aussi la côte ouest, très sauvage, avec des paysages magnifiques et des plages de rêve.
Penser à faire le plein d'essence à Chios-ville car il y a très peu de stations services (celle de Volissos est temporairement fermée suite à l'incendie).
À Lithos Homes, nous avons beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse et la disponibilité de Katerina et, quand nous reviendrons à Chios, nous y ferons certainement étape à nouveau.

Köyün en yüksek yerinde konumlanmış taş bir yapı, biz 2 katlı teraslı odada konakladık. Odalar çok geniş ve rahattı. Tüm mutfak ekipmanları ve çamaşır makinesi vardı. Çok sessiz bir konumda. Mükemmel bir terasa sahip, yüksek bir konumda olmasında dolayı çok güzel esinti oluyor ve bu sayede yaz sıcağında bile akşam üstleri deniz manzarasına karşı rahatlılakla oturulabiliniyor. Tarihi taş bir odada sakinlik içinde tatil arayanlar için kesinlikle tavsiye edilir.
