Great location and a very warm, family-run atmosphere.
The hotel is run by a family, and the hosts were friendly, engaging, and welcoming, creating a genuinely cozy environment. They were happy to share useful local information and helped with booking activities such as hot air balloon tours, which felt reliable and well organized.
Breakfast was excellent, especially the homemade jams. It was easy to linger over breakfast and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Both the breakfast area and the hotel terrace offer direct views of the hot air balloons, which was a highlight of the stay.

Séjour incroyable en cappadoce. Hôtel tenu par une famille d’une extrême gentillesse. Décoration typique, chambres confortables. Tres belle terrasse qui est idéalement placée pour observer les montgolfières.
On s’y sent comme à la maison. Faruk, le patron est tellement intéressant, et sa femme prépare un petit déjeuner délicieux, ils font tout maison, eux-même.
Merci pour ce séjour, votre gentillesse, et le temps de partage passé ensemble.

We booked the hotel months in advanced for one evening and asked the hotel to help reserve an air balloon trip for us to which they said they were glad to help. The initial price they quoted was $180 for each person. They told us they had reserved spaces on the balloon and we would pay when we arrive. When we got there, they told us that the air balloons were completely full. Feeling panicked, we asked if there were other options.
First, the gentleman running the hotel told us that he knew of a couple that might not pay the fee in time, and that we would find out by 4pm if they dropped out. Then he changed his story and said that he had a friend from the hotel across the street who had air balloon spots for €250. We had to take it as we had very limited time there, and couldn’t run around the town finding another air balloon.
In hind sight, we felt he took advantage of our situation. The day we were to go on the balloon, we were initially declined as he put us under another family’s name.
The whole ordeal made us feel stressed, uneasy, and cheated. They should be ashamed of themselves. Please, stay away from this hotel.
