Top Lage mitten im Ort, schöner Weitblick. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und in gutem Zustand (außer die Armaturen im Bad, die müssten erneuert werden)
Es handelt sich nicht mehr um den Landgasthof Zum Bockshahn. Das Restaurant ist aktuell (Mai 2026) geschlossen, ebenso die Sauna und der schöne Garten. Sehr irreführend, dass der Name nicht geändert wird. Im Ort gibt es einen Döner, aber sonst keine Möglichkeit, Essen oder Getränke zu kaufen. Im Haus selbst ebenso nicht, kein Getränkekühlschrank oder vergleichbares. Als Wanderer auf der Eifelleiter ist man daher eingeschränkt. Das Zimmer hat keinen Kühlschrank und auch kein Duschgel/Shampoo im Bad.

Die Beleuchtung im Zimmer ist sehr dunkel. Badezimmer könnte etwas sauberer sein.

Gute Lage, mit Nähe zum Nürburgring.
Zu teuer für drei Nächte 700 € keine Möglichkeit irgendein Essen zuzubereiten, keine Kaffeemaschine, kein Wasserkocher. Im ganzen Zimmer gab es nur zwei Gläser.
