Bike storage was in an unlocked garage area next to the entrance. Not particularly secure but given the location I wasn't worried.
Quite a long way from the main part of the settlement, 1-2 km to the supermarket. No problem on a bike, of course.

A cute pension in the heart of the wine country on the Mosel river. The host was very attentive, the room was clean and breakfast was delicious.
It is near the train and the highway so there is some noice from this if you open the windows at night (but it is barely noticeable with the windows closed)

Nice staff. Cheap. Breakfast was good. Fantastic building.
Could do with a lick of paint. It's shabby and a bit run down. It's a long way out of town.

The room is very spacious and the breakfast was good. The house is located in a very scenic area, however, there is a busy train track immediately next to the room.
Booking.com gave the option to mention the time of arrival. I arrived later (between 8 and 9pm) than I first expected (between 7 and 8pm) but mentioned this in the time of arrival on the homepage. Unfortunately the host was not amused and he gave me a hard time with lengthy questions about my late arrival. Very unfortunate start which did not really improved later
