after kept awake the first night due to bad plumbing, we were shown a room in the quiet part of the hotel.
It was lovely and spacious and quiet.
The staff is very attentive and the dinners we had were really nice.
A lot of weddings take place there although that took place at the back out of the way, there were still a lot of comings and goings all day and evening. the best room for us was in the coach house but it needs updating.

The facilities, location, room, and area were all beautiful. The food was delicious, and the rooms were very cozy.
We had an issue with billing (I was double charged for something) that was not resolved well. I had to follow up with the hotel multiple times to get my issue corrected, and I felt the staff were unhappy with me asking about the cost and asking to have the issue resolved.

Comfy beds, nice room, good wifi, lovely location, nice to have a bath, lots of hot water.
Narrowest duvets I’ve ever experienced!
Shampoo and conditioner dispensers needing a hundred pumps to get a teaspoon of product.
Cheap feeling breakfast buffet products, orange juice like sweet squash, unpleasant hot food (greasy) and stressed out staff - I felt sorry for them but it wasn’t so busy that they should have needed to be.
