the owner speaks English very well and absolutely friendly and very helpful. Walking distance to the Huangshan bus terminal. Perfect location for Huangshan hiking.

My friend and I had a twin room, which the friendly staff upgraded as there were fewer bookings during our stay. The hotel looks exactly like the photos. The room was very comfortable, exceeded our expectations and was excellent value for money. The hotel itself very cool and boutique (as the name suggests). Everyone was very friendly (cat included), spoke great English and even helped us plan our trip to the mountain the following day. After our hiking day, we were able to grab food easily as the hotel is within a 30 sec walk to family-run restaurants, a convenience store and a bakery. When we returned, there was a good vibe in the lobby/bar area with other guests playing darts, with the hotel staff joining in and offering drinks. I highly recommend this hotel.
I used Apple Maps when in China, but I don't believe that the hotel has a location marker on there - might be worth adding for ease of finding the hotel.
Additionally, we found it difficult to know where the hotel car pick-up point was at the bus terminal in Tangkou Town.
If I was to stay again, I would just get a taxi (DiDi) from the train station as they aren't too expensive in China.

Everything. The staff was most helpful, nothing was too much to ask. The location for Yellow Mountains is also perfect. Loved the cat at reception!:)
