Castle Kanaloa at Kona #901 - From the moment you step inside this two-bedroom two-bathroom unit you’ll feel at home. Enjoy a mix of island-style furnishings and contemporary touches that make this unit comfortable, casual, and stylish. Common areas have large ceramic tile floors, while the bedrooms are carpeted. The full-size galley kitchen has everything you need to cook delicious meals for friends and family. Dine at the breakfast bar or the indoor dining table that can comfortably seat four to six people. Or maybe you’d rather dine al fresco on your covered lanai, which is fully furnished and has a wet bar! Both bedrooms have garden style artwork, bedding, and neutral-colored walls. The master bedroom has a King size bed and wall-mounted flat screen television. The second bedroom offers one Twin bed and one Double bed, making this unit perfect for large families and group retreats. The unit sleeps a maximum of six people. The master bedroom had a roomy walk-in shower and double sinks. The second bathroom has an updated tiled shower/tub and modern light fixtures. Other amenities include a washer/dryer, cable, high-speed Internet, and ceiling fans in every room. Air conditioning is available upon request for an extra fee.

The property was great. We felt right at home and we felt very relaxed the entire time. Property managers were quick to respond and very accommodating.

We Appreciated the roomy, well-lit accommodations, and beautiful setting. Same day attention to the broken garbage disposal with water puddled on the kitchen floor, although we had to request additional cleanup of the area.
We were disappointed at the lack of basic kitchen & cleaning supplies i.e. foil, baggies, basic spices, cooking oil, laundry detergent for the week--things that wouldn't be affected by the humid climate but that are expensive to buy for a week’s stay. Our experience with other VRBOs has varied from basic supplies to well stocked supplies for cooking, cleaning, and storage. Only one kitchen towel provided-had to ask for an additional one. Suggest an extra supply of kitchen and bath towels in a closet.
All in all, it was a lovely place that we enjoyed.

Overall good, each room was spacious and had beautiful views. The bathrooms were nice and well stocked with towels and amenities. The kitchen was spacious but could use a really deep clean. We noticed and appreciate that they were trying to remedy the issues but we had a few instances of insects in the kitchen and bathroom that made the stay not 5 stars.
