This was in a great location close to great restaurants, bars and shops. Easy to get everywhere by foot and taxis to other areas. The room itself was comfy, clean and a big bed! The room was made up everyday and water refilled in the fridge was a nice touch. 10/10.

The hotel is well located between the sea and the old town. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within a short walk. We had issues with this hotel, see below, but the room was large and the bed comfortable. The breakfast is provided by a cafe a few doors down from the hotel and this was acceptable - although a little unclear as to what we were able to order.
The hotel is hidden in a very large old building (currently undergoing renovation) with no signage on the outside to indicate it is there. The guards at the entrance do not speak English and were not able to help us when we arrived. After a couple of attempts we eventually found the hotel reception on the 2nd floor. The reception is bright and welcoming. However, I think that the hotel is not well represented on the Booking.com website - To access our room it was necessary to climb a perilous set of steps (definitively not a regular staircase) and this was very difficult at our advancing ages! The room was described as having a city view - but it did not mention that you had to climb up onto a 2ft high bench and stand on tip toes to look out of the window -and then only roofs could be seen.
