It was clean and the bathroom was well appointed. The bed was comfortable. The location was great.
The entrance approach was disgustingly dirty with the contents of a flower spread across the path which meant we had to walk through soil every time we left or arrived at the property. We were not made aware of the fact that there were 4 flights of steps to reach the property. I am over 70 and fortunately fit and able but I might not have been and it is something that SHOULD BE mentioned.
There was an air con unit but we were unable to use because there was no remote. The windows didn’t operate as they should so we had to leave them open and not secure. The noise from the street below was extremely loud especially between the hours of midnight and 5 am. I am not convinced that we got value for money. unfortunately due to the above mentioned problems we would not chose to stay here again

Air conditioner and humidifier work like magic to eliminate the smell.
Very professional and helpful team the reception of the Da Bruno hotel specially Mourad who gave us loads of recommendations and free coffee 😄
Right at the centre of action 5 minutes walk to Rialto and 5 minutes walk to the other direction in san marko.
Tiny bathroom, though expected in an antique apartment in the city centre.
I was expecting a canal view from a balcony but it was a first floor apartment, yet it was looking over the small canal directly via windows .. honestly, i can’t complain

Location is excellent and my apartment with a view of a canal was comfortable and clean. Watching gondolas go by was a fun exerience. Hotel provides very good directions on how to reach the office from the Rialto vaporetto station. Once you find the starting street (very close to Rialto) the directions are a snap. I used google maps with no prob. (Make sure you download local maps. ) Staff at reception couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Would absolutely stay here again.
Pillows were thin and little firm for my tastes.
