Tigh na Cheo

We received a warm welcome from the owner. Our room was nice, very clean and had everything we needed for a 1 night stay. The bed was comfy and we had a good sleep after walking a section of the WHW. Impressed with the bathroom supplies of shampoo, conditioner etc including radox if you needed a bath to ease aching muscles. Also handy for those wanting to travel light without lots of toiletries. There is a supply of tea / coffee / biscuits downstairs which are complimentary to use with the in room kettle and the honesty fridge stocked with drinks was a nice touch. Breakfast was nice although there was very little fruit available when we arrived and the quality of link sausage could be better. Overall a good stay in an accomodation geared towards walkers.

Would have liked the option of a slightly later breakfast, latest 8.30am and checkout at 10am although we were told we could use the shared lounge for a short while after this time. We were not heading off early to walk so it would have been nice to relax for a bit longer on a Sunday morning.

Host very helpful to arrange luggage transfer, answer questions about Kinlochleven .

Electric outlet was broken.

We stayed in a small double room which was comfortable and clean with a good ensuite. The guest house has a drying room and the staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast, especially liked the fruit and yogurt.
