Great wee night away, Redcastle is a real gem!!

Due to bookings .com mistake ,I was forced to seek other accommodation a very short notice, I have stayed at the Recastle frequently over the last 30 years. For reasons to many to innumerate, I would recommend the Redcastle without hesitation to any traveller, only my age (81) and medical condition (terminal cancer) are likely to terminate my visits there

Door lock didn’t work. Had to get staff 3 times any time we wanted to enter b4 it was fixed. Toilet made horn sound when flushed. So not great of sleeping. My bf wanted to watch nextflix to relax after long drive but remote wouldn’t work to scroll right. Room was changed, but it was a lot smaller than original & felt like down grade. Feel like we could have been better compensated for a *** room and poor experience. At this price and hotel star rating, the room should be checked b4 offering to guests. Couldn’t really relax.
