The gentleman who was running the hotel was lovely, we enjoyed talking to him and he was happy to help with anything. To be honest, this is a hard place to rate - it doesn't seem like a conventional hotel - we walked past it twice before we realised it was a hotel. It is in a back street and not somewhere you would expect a hotel to be. I guess quirky would be a good description. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet (there were no other guests in the hotel). The breakfast was very basic and as we are gluten free, the manager very kindly obtained some GF bread for us but otherwise simply cold meat, cheese slices, fresh tomatoes, fresh peppers, muesli and olives. Tea and coffee plus fruit juice. It is very convenient for the main old town centre (albeit a bit 'hilly' to get down then up). It is a real mixture of a hotel, there are some fabulous rooms and indeed, several 'famous names' have stayed there, then there are normal, average, every day rooms. So, would we go back - yes, it was different but we enjoyed it.
Breakfast could have been more varied. The bed was really comfortable but the room facilities were basic, he kindly gave us a kettle and cups and we were able to go to the kitchen and help ourselves to stuff. Water was lovely and hot and the bath spacious but with no plug we were unable to use it as a bath. We therefore had to use the shower which isn't really fixed in a suitable position for showering.

De locatie , de sfeer en de geschiedenis van dit fraaie hotel
Het ontbijt maar daar wordt na overleg goed aan gewerkt. De aandacht voor dit hotel is door omstandigheden weggeglipt. Als de liefde en de passie terug is dan is dit hotel helemaal top. Probeer je als reiziger in te leven in het verhaal en dan zul je hier een prachtig verblijf hebben.

Ortamı Ƨok otantik ve gĆ¼zeldi. EÅim ile 2 gĆ¼n konakladık ancak sıcak su gidip gieldiÄi iƧin baÅka odaya taÅınmak zorunda kaldık. Bunun haricinde yataklar konforluydu. TV ƧalıÅmıyordu ve kahvaltı yetersizdi. Kahvaltının yetersiz olduÄunu anlıyorum Ć§Ć¼nkĆ¼ kalabalık deÄildi ve belki sadece biz konaklıyorduk baÅka kimseyi gƶrmedim. Merkeze yĆ¼rĆ¼me mesafesi kısa olsa da kocaman bir yokuÅ Ć§Ä±kmak zorunda kaldık. Bu yĆ¼zden puan kırdım
