The property is updated and well maintained by the owner, Gary Ashdown, on the outskirts of Dover. It’s a small town, almost everything Dover has to offer is just a short walk from the property. The full breakfast is more than ample, expertly prepared, and delicious. One of the very best places we’ve stayed. Gary, the host, is very personable and helpful.

Elegant but practical stay, even down to fresh roses in our room. Great breakfast to start the day and a lovely view to the backyard with sheep and a rose garden to wander through. Proprietor excellent personal conversationalist. Guests were lovely as well. Will stay for much longer when we return. 😀
