Blacksmiths Arms Inn

We stayed in a cottage room which I assume we’re originally stables, quite adequate for what we needed , comfortable and clean huge bathroom with a great shower, pleasant attentive staff, good breakfast, would we stay there again, absolutely.

Clean, friendly, good location

Firm beds, room a touch small.

Cosy pub atmosphere, clean accommodation and had everything we needed for a one night stay. We stayed for an evening meal and the food was lovely and tasty.

We got the 4 poster bed room and it was a lovely large bedroom with a massive comfy bed and a nice pub downstairs.

Middle of nowhere, we were the only couple in the accommodation and in the bar. Myself and my wife had steak pie and a few drinks and came to £84. The flush wouldn't flush, the wardrobe door wouldn't shut and no beans with the English breakfast. I asked if I could have well done bacon and she said I will try, it came out not well done. As we were the only couple in the accommodation there was no one there when the bar shut at 21.00. When we asked the barman where everyone was he said the Red Lion as its cheaper.
