I enjoyed staying in the hotel. My disappointments are the lack of information regarding the Banchory Show was on and I wasn’t informed.
I realised that the hotel is a lovely location for weddings and they’re very much promoting this feature. I however, didn’t sleep well with the noise that came from the wedding. If you are having a wedding, surely you should let that information be known to whoever has booked to stay for 3 nights.
I don’t know how you would get around that but to have the loud music on and the weather being humid, there was no way to open a window as it was even louder.
A little fridge would be fantastic as I for one like my drinks ( milk, water etc) to be cold and since there’s no mini bar, alcohol too.
Otherwise I enjoyed my stay and would like to see the changes in order for me to book at the right time.

Beautiful setting, only complaint is our room was very hit and we couldnt open both windows due to being painted over. Food fantastic, but the setting bynthe river. Wow.

The Banchory Lodge Hotel is wonderful.
Location is outstanding.
Set beside the River Dee.
Perfect to relax and unwind.
Dog friendly 10 out of 10.
Staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. Nothing is ever too much bother.
I’ve stayed on numerous occasions.
If you are looking for a place to find peace and quiet then this is the place to go to.
Would highly recommend.😀
