Really good breakfast. Quirky, arty decor in an interesting old building. Enjoyed sitting in the sumptuously eccentric lounge before dinner.
The whole place could do with decorating. Paint coming off windows etc. Dinner was described in the menu as being supplied by "our offsite catering facility". This turned out to be the local chinese restaurant, and was even served to us in the plastic containers. Why don't they just tell you this?
On check out, I was disturbed at having to pay for breakfast in cash. Yes, it did say this on Booking.com but I had missed this. Interesting... And I don't know why the owner needs to tell me I should have booked direct and give me her political views when all I'm trying to do is check out.
