This hotel hasn’t been maintained by anyone who knew what they are doing in a while. I say that because the handle cat fell off the shower because the screw was missing and because the air conditioner made a huge racket when we finally got it turned on. We called the front desk for assistance, but instead of a maintenance man coming only the front desk man from the Night Shift came. And he tried to convince us it was fine even though it was making a huge racket and not really putting out cold air. The next day the hotel did not send anyone to fix it even though we asked twice.
Positives: the restaurant staff is exceptional and the dinner buffet is quite good. Many local vegetable dishes as well as meat and fish, one of the more extensive and fresh buffets I saw in Italy anywhere. The restaurant staff are quite pleasant, the front desk staff is pleasant and helpful except for the night shift man.
