Traditional with lovely garden and pool

The garden is beautiful, and super well organized with its view to the city. Having breakfast or dinner with such view is incredible! We felts somehow safe, also leaving the car there, while traveling to the city center with the bus, which was very easy to take. The owner even helped us out with a bus ticket, Grazie! The breakfast lady was super nice, and even as we don’t speak Italian, we were understood. As it was raining in the evenings, we must highlight that we enjoyed the DVDs, which we could set to English language.

We were staying in one of the suites, and probably had different (too high?) expectations. Here are a few examples, we would have expected differently: 1. The toilet flush isn’t working properly and making a horrible noise, which we didn’t address, as this must be a known issue, obviously. 2. We weren’t made aware of a couple of things, which we found out while trying to fix it: the fridge had to be plugged in, same for the WiFi router. We just accidentally found out. Same goes for the outdoor light. 3. The couch was recently replaced, which is good. But the couch table was missing. So we didn’t have a table inside, which is shown differently on the pictures. 4. Italian breakfast is OK, but the coffee can be improved - we’re in Italy ;) 5. Overall, the lock wasn’t working for the room, which we addressed and were advised to lock the cage instead. And this is the overall feeling we had: it’s ok that some things just don’t work. But our expectations on what we pay for are slightly different. We have read the very positive reviews on booking before deciding for this B&B. So our expectations were of course quite high from the beginning. Therefore, we are confident that our feedback is taken as valuable, for other bookers as well as for the owners.
