Excellent location although did not have room facing Piazza, could be more specific in room details. Reasonable roomy although could be upgraded and in some more pictures on walls to add colour to room.

Could be more direct connect with owner or representative.

The location is perfectly downtown.

Nothing in particular. Many stairs, if someone had a huge luggage or not possible to walk through, I suggest to tell in advance.

Wonderful location with lots to do around - shopping, bars, cafes, restaurants, scenic walks. Right on the outside of Via dell’Anfiteatro with a restaurant square, which we visited and had an equally great time in Osteria Parlascio. Would recommend, lovely staff, good prices and great food (even got gifted 2 free limoncello shots!). Train station is only 14 minute walk and lots of buses around. Hotel itself was great, clean, very pretty and very spacious rooms and bathrooms. Ended up staying in two separate rooms as we stayed for an extra night and both were beautiful, would definitely recommend. Felt safe and overall had a lovely experience.

Personally, nothing to complain about. However, for those who are less mobile, it might be difficult to get up to the rooms as you have to go up 2 long flights of steep stairs without an elevator, so if you’re looking to book here do be aware of that. Otherwise no complaints.

The communication with the owners was great and they allowed me to leave my bags at their restaurant until I left Lucca. I had a bit of trouble finding the entrance door at first despite great instructions (my GPS) and lugging my baggage up the stairs was tough! I didn’t have a view of the piazza which was disappointing. The room when I arrived was quite cold and the split system to heat it was very, very loud. The room however was spotlessly clean which I appreciate. The water pump every time any water was used was very loud also, and the sound from the piazza too. I wore ear plugs and then I had a great sleep!

Distance from the parking and the stairs. I simply wasn’t prepared to cart my luggage so far so this was my fault for not preparing the trip better.
