Coalhouse Apartment

Clean apartment, everything we needed and more was there.

Property keys were in a lock box with information sent the day before we arrived. Very easy to find based on instructions and key code was in them as well. I didn't realise this had been sent so sent the owner a message about the keys and it was answered in seconds! That was the only communication we had with the owner because everything was perfect. Apartment was clean and located near the Harbour. Central location with shops and Wetherspoons close by. Timed parking directly outside but as long as you are parking there after 6pm you will have no issues.

I honestly couldn't fault anything about the stay. If I was really picky then I would suggest a better wardrobe but in all honesty who cares about this for a weekend away with your sister.

The stairs were difficult for my wife who has mobility issues.

The appartement was clean and modern and had everything needed but that's where it ends

The toilet was only accessible through the bedroom so the couple in the lounge on the very hard uncomfortable sofa bed had to walk through to go to the loo at night , not good as it then wakes the other couple up. The mattress on the bed is absolutely dire , it goes down a lot in the middle and I'm now suffering from a bad back, it seriously needs replacing. A hostess tray in the bedroom would be a good idea as on a morning you can't put the kettle on as others are in the room sleeping, the church bells rang all night waking me up as well as the bad mattress and the noise from the rif raf in the precinct was loud too .. the bedding on the sofa bed did not smell clean and fresh and had stains on the pillow cases , there was no sheet to put over the pulled out sofa bed and they had to use a blanket . I would never stay again .
