This moderately priced hotel delivered more than we expected. They were able to accommodate an early check-in which was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable and spacious. It took a couple minutes for us Americans to figure out how to operate the bathtub and shower, but that only made us laugh. The location was wonderful. The included breakfast buffet was a very nice bonus. I highly recommend this hotel. Make sure to visit the botanical gardens right across the street. That was an unexpected treat.

Excellent Hotel in the heart of Basel. Always went past it when I lived in the city, was very pleased to discover how nice it is as a guest. Great clean room, nice breakfast.
