Our family of 3 were very comfortable during our 2-night stay in Joan's spacious, immaculate apartment just a short drive from Doolin's main street, amidst peaceful countryside, with a view of the Cliffs of Moher. Joan was very responsive in communications prior to our arrival (we learned how to navigate using postcodes instead of addresses), and when we arrived, we were so pleased with the amenities of the accommodation--including Joan's thoughtful provision of some breakfast provisions. After our initial time spent in Dublin and Galway hotels, it was such a pleasure to be able to spread out in a countryside house. Our young adult/teen daughter was ecstatic with the ocean view from her window and the proximity to the mare and 10-day-old foal in the paddock alongside the property. (The Joan's son raises horses to sell, and he also gave us a helpful tip about seeing the Cliffs of Moher after the park officially closed, for quiet sunset views without the crowds.)
My daughter wished she had discovered the hair dryer in her bedroom vanity drawer the first night of our stay, after her shower. (Turned out there was one in both upstairs bedrooms, but we didn't discover this until the morning we left.) So this is not a complaint about a lack of amenities, but maybe a suggestion that the hair dryer could be placed on the bathroom shelving for more obvious access.
