The beds were very comfortable.
One staff member was very officious, stating that a cup of tea was not free. This is despite there being no tea or coffee making facilities in the room

Nice hotel, free parking, 24 hour check in. Fuel and shops and restaurant nearby.
Experience spoilt by penny pinching by hotel management, not seen in any other French hotel on our trip. No kettle or free coffee machine for drinks during stay, despite previous reviews stating they had had this. We were told there had been a management policy change, even though drinks were available at another hotel of this brand elsewhere in Caen. Air con was switched off and had to be requested at reception and switched off during night. Electricity controlled by key card, but very short time allowed to leave room. meaning we had to use torch when returned within a minute. Very little information given at check-in. Cleaning staff tried to come in to room, twice well before check out time.

What can I say? It was excellent value for money clean, spacious and comfortable.The buffet breakfast was great value for money.We will be back.
