Il Giramondo is extremely spacious and clean, a quick two minute walk from the main square of Matera. Bruna, the host, was super responsive and helpful providing ample amount of recommendations and advice for us as first time visitors. The rooms were equipped with quality linen, toiletries, a coffee machine and was very sound proof. It made for an excellent stay in such an incredible city.
My only comment was that there were no spoons for a coffee or tea, just very small and cheap wooden stirrers.
