Location is good and safe. Room is clean.
No water kettle available and there was a space between the window and its frame which allowed musquitoes to enter

It is strategically located in Botafogo in a quiet private road close by a guarded gate. Restaurants and subway are very close, at 5 minutes walking. Also the pray is at walking 15 minutes walking. Staff is nice and available to help. There is a nice common area with a kitchenette and a couple of tables if you want you buy something at the close-by supermarket and eat there.
We couldn't use the air conditioning because when activated the air was really smelly. Also the pillows were smelling. When we arrived, the access code to open the main gate was not working. Fortunately there still was a nice lady at the reception who opened it for us but the reception is not open 24 hours.

The room was clean. The apartment is located on a private street guarded by security. The apartment is within walking distance of many bars and restaurants as well as the metro station.

Location is great and safe in one of Rio's nicest middle class neighborhoods. Common areas are pleasant.
Twin rooms, their smallest, are very small. Only for sleeping and taking showers. TV is not smart and the monitor in my room had ink stains on the top edge that blotted out the image underneath.
