Usage of the Pool and Gym is a useful bonus. Parking is good and the check-in/out was all efficient. Breakfast is good, although make sure to ask for the breakfast menu to be able to order things like different egg choices or pancakes, as the staff don't willingly give this out!
The Family Suite rooms are small and effectively overpriced as they feel like a standard sized room with 2 Queen beds squeezed in, which doesn't warrant much of a premium.
Whilst our breakfast experience was positive, dinner is atrocious. The menu is limited and overpriced, and apart from steaks (which you can order from the lounge anyway) there is effectively no difference between the neighbouring rooms serving as the restaurant room and the lounge. Waiting staff really didn't seem interested, tossed us handfuls of cutlery, and laughably came to the table 40 mins after us ordering, to ask us "what did you order again?" Had I not had to pay in advance at ordering for the food, I would have refused to do so frankly, as the expensive Chicken Caesar for example looked like a 12yr old had tossed it together out of what they could find left in the fridge. Definitely in the evenings, make the effort to drive to one of the local pubs in Scawby or Brigg I'd suggest.
