I have a mixed feeling about my stay at this hotel. I’ve stayed there with my family and honestly we did enjoy it. There are good things and bad things about it which depends on your life style.
There are just some ways of improvement that could be managed. The package was all inclusive which made things a bit easier for us. My huge concern was the food. It was tasteless and repeated throughout our 4days stays at the hotel. I’ve noticed order food from the menu was excellent as I had to try it. But the buffets and food stand by the beach was a joke. Portions wise were limited and sometimes they take long for bringing extras. I smoke, and I understand that it may affect other people, it just would’ve been nice to creat some areas for smoking other than the need to have to walk all the way outside of the hotel.

Every day was a joy. The staff, the facilities, our room -- all excellent. And those fabulous sunsets! Buffet breakfast at the Bellavista open air restaurant was delightful for the ever-changing array of indigenous Mexican cuisine, alongside eggs, omelets, pancakes, waffles, and an incredible variety of fresh fruits and juices. Perhaps best of all was the kindness of the staff, from the waitstaff in the restaurant and lobby bar to the General Manager Señor Mestas and his assistant Rosa Maria, who always greeted us with a big smile and genuine concern for our well being. We have stayed at Las Brisas Ixtapa many times, and plan to return many times more.
If anything, the adult pool needs some deferred tilework maintenance and the air conditioning in the rooms, at least in our room, needed some tweaking to allow cooler air.

Beautiful property from the vegetation to the beach views. Staff are exceptional, rooms have everything you could want (comfort, amenities), food is excellent and ambiance is great.
Only thing was the non-salad items on the lunch buffet.

Architecture and location are great, private beach is incredible
Building needs maintenance and some renovations, sewer system smells badly. The lock of one room was always failing, it would not read the key card. Replacing key cards was not helping, the door lock was damaged. We had to request assistance at the reception almost daily.
