Location was perfect, the house was clean bright, well equipped, cosy the shower had a good pressure and temperature, overall lovely little place to stay.
My great great grandmother used to live in one of these houses so it added a special touch to staying here.
The steps up to the bedroom where very steep but I suppose it comes with the age and style of renovating these little houses
I think if the stairs where made more securely and the same width on both sides it would make it perfect.

Beautiful historic property, well equipped and friendly host who didn't mind our calling with questions. The welcome pack had a lovely section on Thetfords history. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed and more, and the shower was lovely. Very clean.
The bulb on the fridge was broken which meant it seemed like it wasn't working but was. I couldn't get the light on the cooker hood to work or the heated towel rail. A bikerack and a footstool for the sofa would have been a nice addition, but on the whole everything was grand.

Keys were easy to collect from the lock box. All the cooking facilities worked and there was a decent selection of utensils, cookware, and dinnerware to prepare meals. Location was excellent for exploring shops and historic sites. The pub across the way was lovely.
The shower cubicle opening is tiny, like maybe 14" if I'm being generous. You have to step up into it sideways. My husband literally could not get in to wash. Luckily, I had a friend nearby who let him go round and shower. The steps to the bed in the loft are quite steep. I found it easier to use them as a ladder.
