Amazing breakfast, cozy lounge rooms, many places to hang out

1. Location - on the lake shore, in the harbor, very quiet and romantic. Great view even for rooms without harbor view (I loved our street view). 2 min walk to the train station.
2. Pool area (underground, textile) - it's very small, but it's a great that it's available. We were mostly alone there so we enjoyed it. Steam sauna also very good and clean.
3. The most comfortable bed and pillows.
4. Staff - nice, always ready to help.
5. Top service - baby monitor, kid bathrobes, extra sauna towels, extra pillows available, lots of info provided.
6. Family friendly.
1. Pool is very cold. More like a plunge pool, than an onsen (onsen should be 40C btw).
2. Restaurant menu not to my liking. Carbonara had onions in it and food was mostly overpriced fast food (pitzza, pasta, burger).
3. Breakfast was good for a 3 star, but I would expect better from a 4 star hotel.
4. Top floor sauna and jacuzzi is a textile free area. The terrace is small, but the view is awesome.
5. Towels are not of the same quality as everything else. The fabric was rough and not comfortable on the skin.

Outstanding location. Hotel generally in good condition.
This is a hotel to go to with your partner. Bathrooms are open to the room with only a low wall or pillar obscuring the view - fully romanticised. Would be cracking for a first date. For a group of motorcycling friends, not really the target audience.
And for a romantic hotel the dinner options are inexplicably poor. A limited menu, mixed grill, Wiener schnitzel sort of thing and a very limited wine list rather than the sort of food you light want to have with the special someone you would take to the hotel…a very strange dissonance there.
Not even great for motorcycling mates who want a bit more of a wine list and not a central grill kitchen style offering…
