Kipling Manotel

The hotel is a short walk from the Railway Station and 10 minutes walk to the lake promenade. It is well situated for public transport, which is free to guests during their stay. The breakfast included cooked, continental and pastry options.

The hotel is nice exactly as shown in the photos, very nicely decorated, clean, good size comfortable room but the area is not the best. The other end of Cornavin Street is nicer and more lively. Hotel is only 5 minutes walk to the train station and tram across the road takes you to the station. Coop & Lidl supermarkets are only 50 meters away..

Maybe the room service hours for dinner could be extended to finish at 10pm instead of 8pm

We truly enjoyed our stay at Kipling Manotel. The location is great in terms of proximity to the main train station, perhaps about 600 to 700 meters away, most of them in straight line, so it is a walkable distance if the luggage size allows it. It is also great in terms of restaurants, cafes, pharmacies, shops, laundromat (just few meters away), etc. The area surrounding the hotel feels safe and clean. The rooms are not huge in terms of size, but adequately sized and convenient, clean and functional, with character in the decoration. The bathroom is spacious and comfortable. There is daily room cleaning service. The hotel is located about 20 minutes in terms of walking distance to Geneva's downtown, which is a very nice area to walk, or you could take a (free) boat ride that will cross you over the lake and be dropped in the downtown area. Boat, bus and tram transportation was free through a pass provided by the hotel. The people from the front-end were very attentive and helpful regarding guidance and questions. We truly like this place and would return to it. Thank you!

We were located on the first floor and the room could get a bit noisy in the morning, with trash trucks activity and some on-going construction nearby. Nothing critical.

cozy tiny little hotel with 5 floors, friendly staff, not directly on the main road and only 50m from the tram stop. Cozy and nicely equipped, clean rooms with nice extra bathroom. Delicious breakfast with nearly everything you can imagine in a tiny but cozy room which becomes quickly crowded.

The main and important issue is the elevator and 10 rooms which are directly located at the left and right side of it. The elevator is extremely noisy throughout (day and night) I couldn´t sleep at all. Apparently, it's all about earning money. Other hotels normally have laundry rooms or storage in those rooms but in this hotel your wall is directly next to the elevator. No restaurant or bar in the hotel.
