The room was spacious and clean. The reception was very friendly, helpful and accomodating. The hotel is not too far from the historic center. It's still possible to walk. To get to the hotel I took a took a bus from the hapfbahnhof of Schwerin. The hapfbahnhof in Schwerin is not ugly like the one in Hamburg so the idea worked. For what I paid I think I got a great deal.
The online check-in does not work very well and requires too much bureocracy. Thankfully the check-in in person was easy and the reception helped me.

The room was great, practical and suitable for my son and I. The food was also good, both dinner and breakfast. I tried their omelette, and I loved it.
The ONLY complaint I have, is the check out time. I'm used to checking out at 12pm instead of 11am.

Very good room with great view. Comfortable seating. Excellent front desk.
Influence of large bus groups on the dining room - difficult to find unused place at breakfast, limited filter coffee, running out of juices. Also meant evening menu on 4 evenings out of 6 were buffets or set meal with no clear pricing. When menu available, food excellent. We felt restaurant staff needed either more training and/or better management.
