It’s very basic and outdated that’s why it’s cheap. No light in the bathroom. It was clean at least. But I won’t stay again.

We needed somewhere to stay the night of a late ferry arrival from Portsmouth. We didn't want to be pitching a tent at 23;00 so looked for an affordable hotel in Caen. B Hotel was perfect. It was very good value, and it was easy to find only about 15 minutes from the ferry in Ouistreham. We arrived after the reception had closed, but there was a very clever machine in the reception which did our check in and gave us the key to our room. Our room was spotless, had a toilet and very good shower, comfortable beds and was perfect. We didn't have the breakfast. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel. ****

It is in Industrial area but if you have a car it is not a problem. Easy to get from the hotel to the city. Rooms were clean.

We booked obviously the wrong hotel. It's rather a truckers hotel, or at least for people on a long distance car drive needing to have an overnight. Staff was not really friendly either.
