Beautiful hotel, food in the Mulberry restaurant was delicious, the breakfast was lovely with so much choice, service was great, spacious warm and clean rooms, large comfortable bed. Free car parking. Easy to find. Within walking distance of the town centre and shopping.
Unfortunately the leisure centre was closed for the duration of our stay; disappointing as this was the reason I booked this hotel, it would have been useful to have been informed before arrival as the staff knew it was to be temporarily closed before we came so we had the option to change dates or we could have stayed at another hotel with leisure facilities or a cheaper hotel with the same standard of rooms/service without a leisure centre.

Convenient location and very comfortable beds. Family room was spacious and clean.
The cooked breakfast was very salty and not the best. There wasn’t any gluten free pastries etc, even though I’d let them know that my child was celiac. There was also not a great knowledge of celiac disease and no offer to make the cooked breakfast separately from the buffet as many hotels do. The risk of cross contamination is very high as the same tongs could be used to pick up an item containing gluten.
