The property has everything you need for a family holiday in a great location for us as we liked being a little bit further out it was so quiet and peaceful
Maybe not so good if you don’t like a longer walk to central facilities but it was perfect for us. The views across the lake were gorgeous
The small bed rooms are very small but that is to be expected. Just something to note
Also do not expect phone signal but also remember it’s good not to have you phone for a while

Communication from Julie the host was fab she couldn’t of been more helpful, waking up to the lake view was so beautiful especially after an amazing sleep in the extremely comfortable double bed :) there’s nothing they didn’t have in the lodge (utensils/appliances even a variety of board games that kept us entertained but being two adults we made them into drinking games and had such a laugh:) The pub next to the site is beautiful and has a lovely range of food and drinks.
As it was out of season there wasn’t any activities running and only one bar/restaurant and arcade open but we were refused entry to these until we paid the price of £95 for the passes when we only wanted to go in for a drink. I think the price is steep considering it’s out of season, we took a trip into the local village (woodhall spa) instead where there was a cinema in the woods and a few nice pubs/ restaurants. Also if you don’t mind a 50 min drive we drove to Skegness which I would highly recommend, lovely fun seaside town :)
