Abbiamo gradito la posizione della casa, sulla "valle dell'inferno", immersi nel cuore della parte antica di Tivoli, a cinque minuti dal ponte Gregoriano, a pochi minuti a piedi dalla "casa Gotica", a pochi minuti a piedi da Villa d'Este. Lontano dal frastuono, al canto dell'acqua del fiume Aniene. Raggiungibili a piedi tutti gli altri siti di interesse storico e naturalistico, e i locali (cinema, locali per pranzo/cena/colazione, shopping). Abbiamo gradito essere accolti da Armando, guidati con estrema ospitalità a conoscere le origini e la storia di Tivoli. Torneremo sicuramente, attratti dalla natura, dalla storia, dalla cultura e dalla cura che ci è stata riservata. Andiamo via con la nostalgia ma con la consapevolezza di tornare in questa perla: Domus Eva, dove è nata Tivoli

We had a wonderful stay at Domus Eva. We are wishing ourselves back there right now. This property is a delightful place to slow down and truly relax. It also feels totally secure, as there are 2 locked communal doors before you reach the front door of the apartment.
We found the bed very comfortable, the shower was effective and the kitchen well equipped. The property was also exceptionally clean. The views from the bedroom and flower-filled balcony are incredible and you'll find yourself living in the heart of the ancient part of Tivoli. It truly is charming. But what made our stay even more special was the incredible warmth and hospitality shown to us by Armando our host and the time spent with his friendly cats. The cats can't access the apartment or patio, but can be visited just below, alongside Armando's artist studio. Armando met us from the station and gave us a lift to Villa Adriana during our stay. We enjoyed our coffee and wine chats and seeing the fabulous waterfall views with Armando. Our Italian is not good, but luckily Armando's English skills made up for our inadequacies!
You have total privacy at this property, but Armando is on hand for any advice or support through the Booking.com message system. If you are looking for a perfect place to stay in delightful Tivoli - this is it. Book it you won't regret it! We hope to return.

The apartment is exceptional and very clean and well-decorated with the beautiful view from the terrace and Armanda made me feel very much at home. He picked me up and returned me to the train station and dropped me at another sight outside town. Communication was very good and he was always checking and seeing how I was doing and gave me tourist and restaurant tips. He is an architect and watercolorist and I enjoyed occasional breakfasts with him and hearing about the history of Tivoli. He encouraged me to practice my Italian. Very comfy bed and large shower. Well-equipped kitchen. I didn’t want to leave and look forward to staying there again one day.

I can wholeheartedly recommend this place. An absolute gem of an apartment with a delightful couple, Armando and his wife Allessandra, who looked after us with such kindness during our stay. Armando is a talented artist who has his studio in a basement below the flat, but the accommodation is completely separate and private. Although always on hand, either in person or via message, Armando was never intrusive and the information that he gave us about the history of the area was fascinating to us and helped us to enjoy our stay even more.
The location of the apartment is superb. In easy reach of the old town area and with gorgeous views over the valley below that can be enjoyed from the outside patio. It was well equipped with everything we needed and we certainly would not hesitate to return here. Grazie infinite!
