Apartment on the 6th floor of a residence, facing south / south-east, with balcony; comprising: 1 entrance equipped with alcove, with 2 bunk beds, closet and window, hallway 1 bedroom double bed 140 with cupboard and window, kitchen open to the living room (fridge / freezer, induction hob 2 burners, hood dishwasher integrated), living room with sofa bed 120, table and chairs, TV, internet, bathroom with shower and separate toilet.

The unit is quiet, clean, warm and has hot water. Partially renovated (the bathroom should be refreshed) but the kitchen is new and well-appointed. Reset the TV box and chose HDMI output. The Wi-Fi password is on the bottom of the box. You need to rent bed sheets and towels to be paid in cash at check-out, it is expensive. Request that they are dropped off prior to your arrival, you will need to pick up keys at their office (10 min walk from the unit). Upon arrival, the elevator was not working, 6 flights of stairs with luggage and two days to be back in working order. We found no toilet paper, no hand soap, no dish soap, no paper towel, no garbage bags, no olive oil. Plan accordingly as the owner of the unit relies on leftovers from previous guests for supplies. The ski locker is close to the exit and convenient ski/in and out. The grocery store, bakery and many restaurants are right there. The pictures in the ad are confusing, it looks like there are two bedrooms (pictures of two different bed frames) but there’s only one and bunk beds located right by the entrance. Even if you pre-paid for cleaning, you still need to clean and vacuum. Your cleaning fee only covers the bathroom and floors washing. We stayed at other places in Val Thorens, thus avoiding bed sheet rentals and more easy check-ins with already made-up beds, but overall, if you are prepared with the above information, it is a good place to stay.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. L’appartement est sympa. La dalle de bain mériterait une bonne remise en état car elle n’est pas très propre. La vue du salon est magnifique!

Nous avons vraiment apprécié l’emplacement de l’appartement et son aménagement pendant une semaine ensoleillée.. Tout aurait pu être paradisiaque si nous n’avions pas dû supporter le vacarme de sans gênes ivres au pied de l’immeuble ainsi que la musique à fond de la boîte de nuit de minuit à 4h et des voisins rentrant à 3 h du matin avec les talons ou leurs chaussures de ski ? ... nous avons dû appeler police municipale puis nationale pour y remédier. Nous avons tout de même eu 2 nuits calmes après leurs interventions !
Aux dires des commerçants locaux, la semaine aurait été la pire de la saison débutante...
La proximité des commerces, des pistes, du centre aquatique et du parking sont un privilège et que dire de la magnifique vue du balcon !
Nous essaierons sans doute de relouer ce logement mais pas pendant la même semaine.
