We would highly recommend this wonderful spacious apartment. We were met by a lovely friendly host. We found it to be very clean and well equipped. There are lovely views to the port over the rooftops. The apartment is close to several restaurants and bars, but well sound proofed so outside noise was no problem. The air con was a delight to help cool off after a day of exploring the town. The bed was very comfortable. It is in a great location for exploring the old town or further afield. A must visit is the Cukarin shop nearby for some local biscuits and cakes.
There was nothing we didn’t like.

The location of Kolenda apartment is perfect! It is a very short and flat walk from the ferry. It is also a 2-min walk into old Korcula. Additionally, if you want to catch the ferry taxi, it is only one block away. This is a beautifully remodeled apartment that has been in the host's family for years. We enjoyed the historical photos of their boat building business. Minja is a wonderful host and ensures the apartment is exceptionally clean. It is two levels with bedroom/bath/laundry on lower level. The kitchen, dining and living area are upstairs. (Pretty view of the bay over the rooftops.) This was nice for early sleeper and a TV watcher. The master bedroom has a huge closet/luggage area and a KING size bed! Yeah...not many of these in europe. It was so convenient to have a washing machine in the apartment. The apartment is near a cafe, but the thick walls and double sets of window/shutters block the noise and light. In fact, the cafe owner was very kind in helping us find the apartment.
Highly recommend this apartment for its location, especially if you do not have a rental car. You can walk everywhere or take the boat taxi. One day we took the taxi to Vrnik, which has many great isolated beach areas, then caught the taxi to Lumbarda, walked (20 min) to Popic winery, caught the taxi back to Korcula. About $20/person for all day hop-on-off taxi. One of the best days of our vacation.
We stayed 3 nights, easily could have stayed at least one more night.

Apartment was very spacious, loved the large shower. Bedroom and bathroom are on the second floor and kitchen/living room on the third floor. Host was very sweet and communicative. The apartment is on a perfect central location. Lots of restaurants around it for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
