About this house rental
Make yourself at home in North Tacoma! Enjoy a stay in our private basement suite-and take in the gorgeous water views on our shared deck!
The basement suite with bathroom is private, cozy, welcoming and spacious. Our neighborhood is friendly and walkable, near UPS, Proctor, Old Town, Stadium and Ruston Waterfront. Whether you’re visiting for business, traveling to explore a cool town, or visiting family...we have the place!
Private basement suite with sleeping arrangements as noted (Queen bed and an additional pull out sofa bed) and a private bathroom.
The house was built in 1928 and renovated most recently in 2018. The basement has a private entrance under the carport-when entering guests walk through a clean shop/garage area, through a laundry room and into the basement suite. The staircase up to the main house is locked for privacy. The suite has a mini fridge, microwave and Keurig for your convenience. Internet and TV are available as well as some family games, legos and matchbox cars if you come with littles. Hunker down in the quiet suite/venture out and explore/enjoy Tacoma no matter what the reason for your visit is!

We had a great visit and were happy with the ease of our accommodations. The basement suite was small but just what we needed for a place to call home while we attended a family wedding and enjoyed exploring the surrounding area!

This was a great spot to stay over for the evening after going to a concert at Point Defiance Park. It was super clean and welcoming. We all ale well and were refreshed for our next adventure the following day!

While the basement apartment was cozy and well-appointed, there was one small window and no direct access to the deck pictured. The footsteps above and occasional barking of the family pet detracted from the experience. Disappointing.
