About this apartment rental
As you open the door to the “Los Pelícanos” building at Punta Marina, you will feel an overwhelming sense of beauty and peace. Located in a private, hillside complex overlooking the ocean, the condo has a panoramic view of Zihuatanejo Bay, the town, and the surrounding mountains. You can enjoy this breathtaking view from the huge private terrace, dining area, kitchen, open-air living room, and two of the bedrooms.
Built in 2008, this spacious 2,500-square-foot condo offers plenty of room for your relaxation and comfort. All of the woodwork and decorative elements have been handmade by local craftsmen for a classic and elegant Mexican feel. The condo occupies the third floor of a five-level building, assuring tranquility and a lovely, ocean breeze. The condo faces north so the rooms stay nice and cool during the day and offer an unobstructed view of the sunset over the ocean. You can count on the soothing ocean breeze to lull you to sleep, although each room is also equipped with ceiling fans and air conditioning for hotter summer nights.
The master and second bedroom each have an en suite bathroom with a tastefully tiled shower and a beautiful, handpainted Talavera sink. The third bedroom has easy access to a third bathroom just down the hallway. A large modern kitchen with an ocean view makes cooking a pleasure. The adjoining dining area can comfortably accommodate six guests at the one-of-a-kind glass and cactus root table. One of the best features of the condo is the folding glass door that joins the dining area to the open-air living room for a truly unique living space.
The terrace is furnished with very comfortable and modern seating, a traditional Mexican equipal dining set for four, and a small soaking tub for two – the perfect place to cool off and enjoy a margarita at sunset. The terrace is also equipped with an entertainment center complete with CD player, TV, and DVD player.
The condo is just a three-minute walk to La Ropa Beach - so close that you can actually hear the sound of the splashing waves. As you make your way to the beach down the stairs and along a quaint path, there's a large waterfall pool surrounded by a tropical garden and you may hear parrots in the trees or see an iguana sunbathing! La Ropa Beach, which has pristine white sand and crystal clear water, is bordered by palm trees and several beachfront restaurants that serve scrumptious seafood. Just across the street from the condo is “La Escollera,' a five-star restaurant with a beautiful view and an infinity pool. A five-minute drive will take you to downtown Zihuatanejo where you will find a classic, old-Mexico style atmosphere with pedestrian-only streets, a wide range of eating/dining experiences, and numerous “Tiendas de Artesanias Mexicanas' (Mexican handcraft shops).

The views from the condo were magnificent. There were plenty of beach supplies like chairs, towels and toys. The condo is spacious and easily fit our family of 5 in the 3 bedrooms and bathrooms. We each had our own privacy and the kitchen and outdoor living room were lovely. Our family celebrated Thanksgiving with a traditional turkey we cooked in the oven. The owner was always available and communication was flawless. Excellent condo we would easily rent again. Highly recommended.

Had the best trip with our family (6 adults: 3 'kids' 1 spouse and two parents) celebrating 65th bday milestone. Lots of room for everyone to have their space plus a wonderful communal outdoor living space. and big kitchen.

Great property. Yes, the walk up the hill is a little strenuous but we loved it. Lovely patio. Oven wasn’t working but we made do on our cooking night. BYO shampoo and soap. Pool was a nice afternoon break from the beach. Easy access to the main town via taxi. Get a card from a driver you like and text them when you need them. Communication with the owner was exceptional. Dulce did some early grocery shopping for us for our arrival. Our fave place on Playa de Ropa was La Perla. Great food and chairs,umbrellas too.
