About this apartment rental
In the heart of medieval town, overlook the amazing Anfiteatro Square. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms both with confortable shower. One shower has a relax zone with a little waterfall. The kitchen is well equipped and it has all you need to cook your italian dishes. All the room has air conditioning and heating. It is at the third floor and it's very quiet. Often in the square there is music show and in April there is a flower show.

The anfiteatro apartment is so perfect. I fell in love with Lucca and the apartment was perfect for us. There three of us and we were all comfortable. The kitchen looks out on the anfiteatro and is the prefect place to sit and read and book listening to the bustling of the day. There are a ton of food and shopping choices right outside your door although we tried to avoid eating in the anfiteatro to avoid touristy places. The best gelato is right around the corner at Momo Gelato, so creamy! Bruno gave us great restaurant recommendations. I accidentally locked us out of the apartment and caused a big headache for Bruno so absolutely DO NOT leave the extra key in the lock on the inside of the door when you leave the apartment. It wasn’t made clear to me when checking in and this was a huge deal and it is. It should be in big bold letters on the front of the house guidebook! Definitely get bikes and ride around the wall. We picnicked on the wall and enjoyed the little ones playing soccer and seeing all the dogs and people. We wished we could have stayed longer. We had a car which was not needed for Lucca but enabled us to easily tour the neighboring towns. You must have lunch at ristorante la Torre in montrcarlo. It is simply the. Best. Bruno was very helpful and communicative leading up to and during our stay and we would definitely go back!

Great apartment for family of four. Main bedroom on main floor and second bedroom (great for kids) with ensuite bathroom on second floor. Renovated main bathroom with spa features. Kitchen and dining/sitting area face Anfiteatro circle.
It was a quiet week at the Anfiteatro. A saxophone player was there every night. Most of the loud entertainment was at the Napoleon Piazza for the Lucca Summer Festival (http://www.summer-festival.com/) - a 10 minute walk from the apartment. Best gellateria in town was a 1 minute walk away. Easy access to the bike rental locations for the Lucca wall 4.2km trail. A 15 minute walk to the train station to get to Pisa or Viareggio Beach (both a 20 minute train ride). Puccini daily concerts (http://www.puccinielasualucca.com/) located in Giacomo church a 10 minute walk from the apartment.
Bruno was hospitable and helpful to answer any question (restaurants, historical sites, private tours) regarding his home city and Tuscany.
Grocery store, Conad, around the corner from the apartment. Cooking is still the best option than eating out every day. Please remember to buy laundry & dishwasher soap and toilet paper for your stay.
