About this apartment rental
Fully equipped 100 m2 apartment plus 40 m2 balcony, walking distance from Acropolis. Fully renovated, Sep 2018, safe and quiet area in Athens historical center. Accommodates 6 people in comfort, providing all required for short or long stays
Guests can relax, have breakfast, lunch, dinner, or sunbath in the big Balcony.
There is sun throughout the year.
Rain is minimal, 30 day/year in Athens. Even then whether is fine to relax under awnings

Neighborhood overview
Our neighborhood although located in the historical center, it is very safe and friendly. Bakery, pharmacy, grocery and butcher, shops, gym, as well as supermarket are all just a minute walk. A nice square with many little restaurants and coffee shops is also just a minute away. Koukaki, is one of the most popular neighborhoods for Athenians. Daily Mail states that it is the 5th most popular neighborhood in the world for living like a local. Koukaki secrets are shown in Savoteur.
Getting around
One can reach Acropolis and Plaka in 15 min walk, as well as most of the tourist sights, and the city center. Right next to the historic center of Athens and nightlife we don't experience crowds of tourists and the associated rush. Our neighborhood is safe, quiet and nice to sleep in. Open air vegetables, fruit and fish market every Friday in the street. Syntagma square is on walking distance, or can be easily reached by trolley and/or metro. Easy access to marinas and beaches through tram lines and Piraeus port through the green metro line Apartment is 5 minutes’ walk to Filopappos hill that is the green spot in Athens center, next to Acropolis.

Vespa and Costa were great. All correspondence was answered so quickly, which was so appreciated. The apartment was centrally located very closes to attraction yet in a small neighborhood with very local restaurants.

The area was easy to get to the sites, plenty of surrounding eateries and the bakery across the street had great deserts and breads. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for a week with our 4 children, and loved this apartment. Vesna was responsive and kind, meeting us at the property to give us a tour and provide the keys. The apartment was clean, large, modern, beautifully sunlit, and powerfully air conditioned which we appreciated in the summer heat! The living room and one of the bedrooms open onto a very large balcony, with a sun shade, row of large potted plants for privacy, 2 loungers, and a table that seats 6.
The property is within easy walking distance of many restaurants, several small grocery stores, a playground, and numerous bus stops and a metro station. It's an easy walk to the Acropolis and other sights. The neighborhood seemed to be safe, I walked around alone or with one or two children several times and had no concerns. There is a delicious bakery right across the street where you can buy freshly baked bread, croissants, cakes and pastries. Their blueberry tarts are excellent!
If we're ever back in Athens, I would love to stay at this apartment again!
