The cottage is right in the centre of Beaumaris, just yards from the main street. The rooms are large and airy, with big windows, the beds and sitting room furniture are comfortable, the bathroom and kitchen are well-equipped, and the house has pretty much everything you need with some notable exceptions (see below). There is a small but attractive courtyard garden, with furniture, but sadly the weather was too cold for us to use it. All-in-all we were very happy to stay there, and have recommended it to friends. It wouldn't take much to make this cottage achieve a higher rating of 9 or even 10.

As others have pointed out, THERE IS NO PARKING, despite the booking.com listing very definitely stating that parking is available. It certainly isn't; the alley next door is used by neighbours to park their two cars, and when one car drives off, they quickly move the other car forward to prevent anyone else from parking there. So we ended up unloading on the double yellow lines, and then parking at West End, quite a walk away. The green car park costs £8 a day, and £5.50 after 6pm (not £1 as the out-of-date information wallet states), and a weekly pass is £50 (not £20). The other main disappointment was the lack of the most basic items which are usually provided. No tea bags, no coffee, no dishcloth, no kitchen towel. There wasn't even a rubbish bag in the bin! There was just 1cm of washing-up liquid in the bottle, 0.5cm of soap liquid in the bathroom upstairs, and one-and-a-half toilet rolls. Oh, and they also left a small packet 'welsh cakes'.So be warned, and make sure you bring with you washing-up liquid and soap, dishcloths, rubbish bags, kitchen towels and toilet paper, as well as everything you need for that welcoming cup of tea when you first arrive. The stair carpets and hallway mats are pretty grubby, although everywhere else was spotless. And the bathroom door can only be closed if you really give it a slam, which is annoying at night.

Lovely cottage, conveniently located in a quiet area but very close to the town centre. Immaculately clean and comfortable. There is no designated parking with this property. It was first come first served for the few spaces available so we sometimes had to park in the public car park.

Not very cosy, no toilet roll, dish cloths, cleaning products, tea bags etc. We had to go out and buy our own. Lifted the rug in the living room and underneath it was sand. Parking is an issue, the description states up to 3 cars however,one car parked there not allowing you to even park in the alley! Sykes, were uncontactable on the several occasions I tried when I tried to ask about early check in as 5pm is a little late.
