Great comfortable stay for a family wedding. Kids loved the pool. They want one at home now! 🤣

All good. Small issue with garden fence holes into a chicken coop caused issues with dogs and nearly dead chickens! 🤦🏻. We had someone come and pick them up and take home) Might be worth mentioning this in description and fixing the fence.

Great space, very well spacious proportioned house in a wonderful and beautiful location

Generally the house felt a little tired and needing a little love. Windows were dirty inside and out, some cutlery was dirty and kitchen cabinets just need a little repair.

Lovely, friendly hosts. Provided milk and also some biscuits, as well as fresh eggs from their chickens. Quiet location and good as a base for our stay. Spacious, quirky accommodation, plenty of facilities - dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, etc. Lovely to be able to sit outside in the garden. Super to have use of the pool (shared with the owners).

Downsides were: a broken bed (bed feels like you are sleeping upside down and lists heavily on one side - resulted in one of the guests feeling very dizzy in the mornings), broken dining chairs (the top part of the backs come off when you move them out from the table), tired furnishings, old, uncomfortable mattresses on beds, shower head in upstairs bathroom would not stay upright, (kept slipping down the rail which meant having to hold the head with one hand). Overall, not as clean as we had expected (from our experiences at other properties). It felt like it was someone's home rather than paid for accommodation.
