About this house rental
The house 2016 was created as semi-detached and located on the outskirts of the village Morsbach with a unique remote view into the National Park. The area offers a pristine nature that can be explored on numerous hiking trails in the national park and it is some 3 km away Ordensburg "Vogelsang".
The high-quality holiday house with about 85 sqm offers five people a Sleeps.
The property combines the ecological timber construction with a modern architecture: cozy wood ceiling and wall panels, central wood stove, modern kitchen, comfortable seating area and coffee combined with many windows allowing a panoramic view of the unspoiled country look.
The building is located on approximately 1 000 sqm plot with a large terrace. The garden and the terrace is gemeintschaftlich used with the other house.
In the attic there are two bedrooms for three and two persons and a bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Stove, Wifi, Radio-CD, dishwasher, washing machine, induction cooker, convection oven, two refrigerators, Internet TV with library and an infrared heating available,
- We rent the property only on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday.
The environment offers many possibilities for excursions:
- Signposted trails in the national park (including guided ranger tours) - right on the doorstep
- Einruhr / Urfttalsperre with boat tours and swimming pool - in 8 km
- Luftkuhrort Gemünd with pedestrian zone, many restaurants and outdoor swimming pool - in 6 km
- Summer toboggan run and open-air museum in Kommern - 22 km
- historic center Monschau - in 24 km
- "High Venn" raised bog - in 25 km
- Ski area "Weisser Stein" - 18 km
- Game reserve and bird of prey station in Hellenthal - 12 km

The property was beautiful, calm and cozy and in a stunning location with stunning views across the area, whatever the weather. Our children loved playing on the swings and in the garden and we enjoyed running, walking and cycling on the local trails and exploring the Reservoirs, beautiful Monschau and other local villages and their fabulous swimming pools! The house has everything we needed for a wonderful week.

Das Objekt hat uns mehr als gefallen. Das Haus lässt fast keine Wünsche offen. Das schönste ist die Ruhe und der traumhafte Blick in die Natur.
Die Umgebung bietet genug Möglichkeiten für einen Ausflug.
Im Dorf befindet sich ein herrliches Bauerncafe.
Insgesamt ein rundum schöner Urlaub.

Wir haben mit drei Personen eine super entspannte erholsame Woche in dem schönen Haus verbracht. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, so dass man nichts vermisst. Die großen Betten sorgen für guten Schlafkomfort und alle Zimmer sind hell und freundlich eingerichtet. Vom Wohnzimmer aus hat man einen genialen Blick in die Landschaft. Abends lädt der große Esstisch zum Gesellschaftsspiele spielen ein oder man verbringt einen gemütlichen Abend bei Kaminfeuer auf dem Sofa.
Sehr schön ist auch die dörfliche Lage mit angeschlossenem Wandernetz (z.B. Eifelsteig). Man kann quasi von der Haustür aus in alle Richtungen einfach loswandern (Wanderkarte vorhanden).
Auch sehr empfehlenswert ist das Bauerncafe in der Nachbarschaft. Hier gibt es leckeren Kuchen und auch warme Gerichte.
Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr freundlich und er beantwortete sehr schnell unsere Fragen. Checkin und Checkout verliefen reibungslos.
Wir empfehlen das Haus gerne weiter!

This modern "lodge" style house is on the edge of a small hamlet, looking down towards the Urft. It is in a very peaceful location with a great view from outside and the floor to ceiling glass in the lounge.
The bedrooms upstairs are large and airey and the upstairs doors are a nice touch.
The property would be great for 2 couples or a family of 4 /5). We stayed with a 1 year old and the layout worked well. We were very appreciative of the pull out stair gate upstairs and the wooden toys ( the tractor made our son's holiday) is a nice touch.
Morsbach is a good location for picking up the Eifelsteig, but also a good distance for Monschau, Nideggen, Heimbach and Bad Münstereifel. It is also only 5 minutes from the Vogelsang (and the farmer's café in the village).
The property is well appointed and has plenty of utensils / crockery. The horses in the field next door were an added treat!
