We have been traveling to the Asheville area over Labor Day for the past nine years. Our group ranges from 12-14 people so it’s not easy finding a place that satisfies everyone (not to mention having enough bathrooms). This is our second year staying at this property and there is no doubt we will be returning. The house and hosts are equally incredible. It’s the perfect Asheville location. We go downtown, to the village and hiking in the Pisgah Forest, they are all so easy from this house. If you are looking for a family friendly destination, this is the place for you. As I said, no doubt that we will return.

This space is beautiful! The house is comfortable and spacious + views are breathtaking. You can easily get to Asheville then retreat back to the house to relax. Sam and Laura were very attentive and responded quickly to our needs throughout the weekend. We hope to stay here again in the future. Highly recommend this mountain getaway!

We had a lovely time with my family in this very roomy and well-appointed home. And I cannot say enough about our hosts, who were highly responsive to all our questions and who went out of their way to help us out when we had a little car trouble. The house is quite a bit out of the way if you’re visiting Asheville, but the upside is that you have the views all to yourself without seeing or hearing any neighbors. We will certainly look forward to coming back.

We stayed here for our son’s wedding in Asheville. What a treat to be perched on the side of a mountain enjoying the quiet and stunning views rather than in a hotel room. It was an easy drive, about 15 minutes, to downtown. The pictures do no sdo this property justice - it is amazing. Spacious, more than enough seating inside and out, lots of kitchen essentials (pots, pans, bakewear, etc), newer appliances, large bedrooms and bathrooms. I could go on and on. I will say the drive is quite steep, be ready! But once at the top lots of nice level parking. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay. We even had a visitor, black bear, one evening!
