About this house rental
The apartment is located in a traditional stone house in the small village of Moni, quiet, surrounded by olive groves and only 4.5km from the fishing village of Sougia with its beautiful beach, cafes, taverns and shops.
Both Samaria Gorge and Agia Irini Gorge, as well as the archaeological site of Asklepion Lissos, invite you to go hiking ....
This apartment has a bedroom with a comfortable double bed on the first floor, which can be reached by a spiral staircase. The bedroom is preceded by the balcony with panoramic views of the White Mountains and the stunning night sky of the Cretan nights. On the lower floor is the living area with a pull-out sofa bed, which offers enough space for 2 children. In the adjacent kitchen area, with 2 ceramic hobs, fridge and espresso machine all meals can be prepared. the bathroom has a jacuzzi tub that promises relaxing hours.
In the quiet village atmosphere, surrounded by aromatic wild herbs you will experience the original Crete!

We arrived to a bottle of wine that made us feel right at home, and some tasty cake the next day. This is a great place to stay as an alternative to staying in Sougia. The home was well-cared for and had everything we needed. It has a lot of history, as it was Spyros' family house. It is a short 5-minute drive to the beaches during the day and we would spend our evenings on the balcony watching the sunset. A very peaceful setting. There is a taverna right across the street with some of the best food we had during our travels. Wish we would have stayed longer in the area!
