Ballygally Seaview Cottage

The location and view is to die for - there is no need for a tv in this property, sitting on the balcony or in the fabulous living room is all you need to do, all day if you have the time. The sea is literally a 3 minute walk away to a lovely sandy beach and Bally Gally itself is a gorgeous little seaside village.

Some off the equipment was a bit dated and tricky to operate, with a few quirks thrown in for good measure. The shower kept dropping down so we had to hold it with one hand. There are a lot of nick nacks around which are just dust grabbers and locks on the separate loo and bathroom would be good.

The views from this property are exceptional. We sat and starred out the windows and watched the sea and the sky and the hills. The location is perfect to explore the area which has a spectacular coastal road and wonderful countryside. The property was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.

Lots of personal belongings in the house which was abit awkward, very quirky layout. House was hard to heat which meant drying clothes very difficult. We also came back from a day out and the front door was wide open, there was a storm ongoing and it had a blown open which was worrying as all our personal belongings and passports were inside. Thankfully nothing was gone but it requires someone to be inside and someone outside in order to get the door closes tight. We had to use back exit and go round house until it was fixed. Owner did have it fixed the next day.
