Roskeel House

This is pleasant 1930s building , I’m guessing, all the rooms are huge by modern standards. It stands on its own plot and parking. I rate the breakfast exceptional, many good food options to suit everyone. Everything in the hotel is ordered and cleaned and polished to a very high standard, attention to detail evident everywhere. There is a relaxed and very pleasant period furnished lounge with tea and coffee and biscuits provided.

Altogether a very comfortable hotel, the weather was cold and wind very strong from the north and our room did cool very quickly once the heating went off

Great location within walking distance of the beach, pubs and restaurants. It was spotlessly clean, really quiet and with a lovely host. I loved the artwork dotted around the place as well as the traditional decor which gives the house a really homely feel. Would definitely recommend.

Great location next to beaches and fantastic walks. Very good bar/restaurant a two minute walk away - vegan menu too! Maura was a friendly and helpful host.

Tea and coffee facilities in room would have been nice. Available in lounge though which was very comfortable.

It was like arriving to stay with an old friend .

Pls a harder pillow ( but that just me )
